Martha Jacobs
Martha Jean Jacobs (née Carter), beloved mother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, at the age of 77, surrounded by family.
Born on July 14, 1947, in Asheboro, North Carolina, Martha was the daughter of Folger and Dorothy Carter. She honorably served in the United States Army as a bookkeeper before settling in Palmetto, Florida, where she lived for 30 years.
Martha will be remembered for her love of travel, cruises, gardening, bingo, cooking, fishing, and her devotion to family and animals. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Jacobs, and her sister, Susan Jackson. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Tidewell for their compassionate care.
