Carol Ann Parisi
Carol A. Parisi, 81, died on July 7, 2024, after a long courageous battle with ALS. She was born January 14, 1943, in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of Edith and Edward Todd. She lived most of her adult life in Connecticut until she moved to Venice, Florida in 2022.
Carol enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting blankets, and spending time with her friends and family. She loved traveling, going to the movies, and playing card games in a weekly social group. Carol loved people and appreciated engaging others who crossed her path regardless of whether she had just met them or had known them for years.
She will be missed dearly by many, but her kind and generous spirit will live on in her children.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Anthony, her daughters Carolyn Rohrig (husband Jeffrey) and Susan Parisi, and her son Philip Parisi (wife Diane) all of Venice, Florida. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Bryan Bystrianyk, Kyle Bystrianyk, Dylan Bystrianyk, Thomas Parisi, Olivia Parisi, Hope Parisi, Allyson Voytek, and Alexis Voytek.
A service of remembrance will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Rd, Venice, FL.
Those who wish to remember Carol in a special way can contribute in her memory to the ALS Association (donate.als.org) or Tidewell Hospice (Tidewellfoundation.org).
