Aaron Ilias Beach, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2023, while a resident at Jacaranda Trace Assisted Living/Memory Care community in Venice, Florida. He was born in Prescott, MI on January 20, 1932, as number 7 of 9 children. He was the last surviving member of his Beach family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Jacqueline Houle Beach; his parents, Orville David and Pearl Nancy (Streeter) Beach; son, Gary Allen Beach; all of his siblings, Orvetta Dodds, Leota Hilts, Lorna Middleton, Genice Osborne, and her twin brother, George Beach, Hildred Dobson, Theo Beach, and Wendell Beach.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his surviving children, Debra (late Howard) Coulby of Venice, FL, David (Patricia) Beach of Palmetto, FL, Kimberly (Will) Pigford of Norfolk VA, and Scott (Debbie) Beach of Myakka City, FL. He also leaves 23 grandchildren, 33 Great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Aaron grew up on a farm in Michigan tending to cows, horses, pigs and dogs. He left home at 19 joining the U.S. Army and served with honor in the Army Security Agency at Ft. Devens, MA. It was there he met and married Jacqueline in 1955. He retired in 1992 as a chemical matcher/lab supervisor for Foster Grant. They then retired to Palmetto, FL, and lived for 25 years in SunKey Village where they were very active within the community. They also started their own business called, “Jackie’s Tee’s”, where they made and sold T-shirts with intricate designs at craft fairs around the country for 10 years.

After Jacqueline passed from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease in 2018, Aaron moved to Bella Vita Assisted Living in Venice, FL. He lived there for almost 5 years due to his unfortunate battle with Parkinson’s disease. The last two months of his life, he spent at Jacaranda Trace also in Venice, FL. Both of these communities deserve the family’s heartfelt praise and gratitude for their loving care of Aaron. There were too many wonderful caregivers and nurses to name everyone, but they all have earned our love and thanks.

Aaron was also tended to by Tidewell Hospice of Venice for whom we are also grateful.

A Graveside Service will be 1 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2023, where Aaron will be buried with his love at Sarasota National Cemetery with military honors. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Aaron’s name to: Tidewell Hospice, or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
