Make checks payable to “Tidewell Foundation.”
Mail or deliver checks to: Tidewell Foundation 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238

Checks sent via the U.S. Postal Service must be postmarked on or before December 31st. Checks sent via carriers such as FedEx, UPS, etc., must be physically received by 5 pm on December 31st. Checks dropped off in person must be received by 5 pm on December 31st. To alert us of your arrival, please call 941-552-7685.

Credit Card

Mutual Funds

Gifts of mutual funds can take as long as six weeks to complete. Please check with your broker on their internal process and initiate the transfer accordingly. The transfer must be initiated early enough to be posted into our account on or before December 31st.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (IRA Charitable Rollover)

Those 70 1/2 or older can donate up to $100,000 to charitable organizations directly from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Notify your plan administrator no later than December 15th if you intend to make a gift from your IRA.

Stock

Contact your brokerage firm for specific instructions and timing for publicly traded stock. Stock transfers may take up to four days to complete the process. Therefore, initiate the transfer no later than December 27th.

Wire Transfer

Submit a transfer request to your financial institution. The transfer must be received in our account by 11:59 pm on December 31st.
