Tidewell receives $75,000 grant to support COVID-19 pandemic response
Tidewell Hospice has received a $75,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to support Tidewell’s COVID-19 response.
This funding comes from the Community Foundation’s Health Care Grant and will supply personal protective equipment (PPE) for Tidewell’s frontline workers providing world-class hospice care in Sarasota County during the pandemic.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has demanded incredible courage and hard work from Tidewell’s colleagues on the front lines, who continue to serve our community,” said Tidewell President and CEO Jonathan Fleece. “This generous grant will help equip them with the personal protective equipment they need to safely care for our patients and their loved ones during an already challenging time.”
The Health Care Grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County is available through support from the James Franklin Warnell & Dorothy J. Warnell Fund. This grant program supports those not-for-profit organizations providing health care services in Sarasota County, Florida to provide direct assistance to worthy individuals.
