Bruce Dubyak
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Edward Dubyak, beloved husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend, on May 2, 2024, at the age of 69. Bruce passed away peacefully, with David and Dollie by his side.
Bruce was born on December 16, 1954, in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Irene Dubyak. Growing up in the close-knit community of West Mifflin, Bruce developed a strong work ethic, a passion for family, and a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers that would endure throughout his life.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bruce will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was a devoted husband, stepfather, and grandfather whose love knew no bounds. He was a pillar of strength and support, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of wisdom. Bruce’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family, whether it was playing with their dogs, cheering on the Steelers, or betting on just about anything. All while creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Bruce is survived by his stepdaughter, Sommer (Johnny); his adoring grandchildren, Paige, Cierra, and Deven; his brother Wesley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Two separate celebrations of life for Uncle Bruce will be held later this year one in Stuart, FL and one in West Mifflin, PA, details of these event will be posted on Uncle Bruce’s Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to the Tidewell Foundation.
Though Bruce may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing, and may he rest in eternal peace.
