Daniel Mominee
Daniel T. Mominee passed peacefully away on September 6th, 2024 at 67 years old in the care of Tidewell Hospice in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, not far from his home in Myakka City, Florida. He had his Wife and Daughter by his side at the time of his passing. Daniel was a very loving, funny, sweet man. Daniel cared deeply for his family as they were the most important thing to him! Daniel was born in Toledo, Ohio to his father Norman Mominee, and Mother B. Joanne Mominee. He took over his father’s plumbing business at a very young age, where he would spend the next 35 years building relationships within the Sarasota community. Daniel loved the water, from deep sea fishing to inshore fishing, and scuba diving. He also had a passion for hunting along with all things outdoors. Most recently, riding around on his four-wheeler, skid steer, or tractor tending to his herd of cattle or just enjoying his property. Daniel was a proud father of his daughter Amber Hochstetler (spouse Landen Hochstetler). He is also survived by his three beautiful grandchildren, Braelyn, Granger, and Taytum who absolutely adored their Grampy. He was married to his loving, dedicated wife Shari Mominee for 28 years, He loved her with his whole heart. Daniel will always be remembered for his huge heart and humor. Family was his whole life. Daniel has gone fishin’ with the angels & will be truly missed.
