Dolores Chegas
Dolores “Dee” (Bieller) Chegas, age 92, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Neville Island, PA, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on August 30, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Louise Bieller. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Walter Bieller, and Samuel Bieller.
Dolores was the loving mother of Laura L. Clancy (Richard), the late Gary J. Chegas, Jr. (Valerie), and Lynn M. Wolske (Ron). She was a dear grandmother to Jeremy (Nancy), Jessica (Edgar), Jenna, Matthew, Brandi, and Tyler, and a cherished great-grandmother (Nana) to seven great-grandchildren. She is fondly remembered by her living sibling, Daniel Bieller, and his wife Maureen, along with her nieces and nephews.
Dee worked for 20 years as a Reservation Sales Agent with USAir. After her retirement, she worked part-time for Disney at Animal Kingdom. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Pittsburgh sports, was an avid bingo player, and an expert player of Pac-Man and Mario Brothers. What she cherished most were the annual family beach vacations, creating countless memories. Mom/Grandma/Nana/Dee, thank you for always loving us and guiding us. Even though you are no longer with us, we can still feel your love. You will forever be in our hearts.
Dolores will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Per her request, there will be no services. The family extends their gratitude to Tidewell Long Term & Hospice Care, Braden River Rehabilitation Center.
