Juan Alverez (Sample Obit)
Juan Alverez, passed away Feb. 1, 2023 at home, following an illness.
Juan graduated from Olean High School in 1969 and attended Erie Community College, Buffalo State and RIT, where he received a Bachelor of Technology in 1985.
Juan started working at Dresser Clark as a draftsman in 1974 and 1976 he became an engineer and continued to work for them for 39 years until his retirement in 2013.
Juan enjoyed fishing, collecting coins and working on computers, which he taught himself how to do. Most of all he spent time with his family and grandchildren.
Juan is survived by his wife Mary, two children, Juan Jr. and his wife Mary of Orlando, Marie Smith and her husband John, and 8 grandchildren.
Juan was predeceased in death by his parents.
