Theresa June (Salerno) Jones
Theresa was born into a large, loving family in New York, where her early years were shaped by the closeness and strength of her parents and many siblings. In 1953, following her marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth Carlton Jones, she moved to Florida and began building the life that would become her greatest legacy.
She was the best possible mother—steadfast, nurturing, and unwavering in her devotion. She faced adversity with quiet courage and managed to raise four children who deeply respected her strength, resilience, humor, culinary skill, and her loving commitment to them. Her home was a place of stability, compassion, and the kind of everyday grace that shaped her children’s lives in lasting ways.
She is survived by her daughters Debi Booth (Buddy Bryant), Karin Williams (Mark), and Sandi Poole (Mike). She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Carlton Jones, and her youngest child and only son, Kenneth Martin Jones.
Her life was defined by family, and she will be greatly missed and always remembered by them and by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Those that wish to honor Theresa’s memory may make a donation to Tidewell Foundation.
