Mrs. Vernette Crosby, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died Thursday, March 17, 2025, at her residence. Vernette is survived by her husband, Albert, of 73 years, daughter Debra and husband, William McDavitt, son Robert Crosby, and daughter, Marilyn and husband, Robert Kennedy. Grandsons Brian McDavitt, Timothy McDavitt, Alan Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy, and Granddaughters Heather Heid (Crosby), Kathryn Hayes (Kennedy), and Amy Anderson (Kennedy). Sisters Grace Guzman and Clara Skupien. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tidewell Foundation of Port Charlotte, Florida, or the charity of one’s choice.
