Wauline Falce
Wauline Falce of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully on 12/5/23. She was 80 years old at the time of her death. She was born on 1/12/1943 in Hartford, CT. She is predeceased by her parents, Ruel and Christine Baldwin of Hartford, CT, and her siblings, Christine Russell of Newington, CT, Ruel Baldwin Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, and Walter Baldwin of Montpelier, VT.
Her greatest loves were her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Falce. She is also survived by her four children, Ronald Lessard of New Britain, CT; Anita Mulcahey and her husband Joseph of Medway, MA; Cheryl Betterini of Winchendon, MA; Brian Lessard of Newington, CT; and Kristen Lee of Newington, CT. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sean Mulcahey and his wife Vanessa of Appleton, WI, and Colleen McCarthy and her husband Kevin of Nashua, NH, as well as her great-grandchildren Henry and Charles Mulcahey of Appleton, WI, and Griffin McCarthy of Nashua, NH (coming June 2024).
She was married to Robert Falce for 37 years. She grew up in CT and lived in Newington for most of her life. She moved to Punta Gorda, FL, in 1984 to evade the New England winters.
She went to the Morse School of Business in CT, which prepared her for working with computers, and she worked most of her career at Travelers Insurance Company as a Program Analyst.
In her younger years, she volunteered with the CT Jaycees and the Boy and Girl Scouts of CT. She was a passionate crafter and made many of her daughters’ clothes growing up. Later in life, she took up the hobby of beading and loved creating beautiful jewelry for family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life held in her honor on Saturday, 5/11/2024, at 12:00 PM at our Savior Lutheran Church at 1655 Main Street, Newington, CT 06111.
